Teri Guy Skrdla

Over the holidays the Sweet Story Sisters book club offered a purse exchange. I'd remembered a sweet story from Teri Guy Skrdla about driving a vehicle with keys left in it that looked like hers - but was NOT hers!  This of course being in a small, rural South Dakota town, and completely reminded me of something I would do. She's now in Arizona...we miss her!  And didn't she make my book club bag look darling?

Ok, Jen. Thanks for making me sound so innocent. I did a little more than DRIVE that truck that wasn't mine. I stole it for THREE hours. And the guy who owned that truck SAW me take it, remember? Only in rural SD...

But you turned yourself in, found so innocent that they didn't know what to do with your report?!!

I don't even think an official "report" was made. I suppose if you could count my call to the policewoman, who was incidentally shopping in the city at the time. She told me to call her back once I "returned the goods to its rightful owner."

Um, "returned the goods"...I guess we can give her an A for trying to sound official.
